About the project
During 'Queer Painting: Intervals' exhibition and to coincide with Trans Pride Hastings, Amici Studio hosted a celebratory life drawing workshop with the Body Love Sketch Club specifically for trans and non-binary participants.
Trans Pride Hastings were a collaborator on this project.

Projects, activities and impact
In The Studio offered a safe, private space for 40 members of the trans and non-binary community to come together and draw one another in a positively guided class.
Individuals expressed feelings of joy and peace. The opportunity to meet similar people with shared experiences strengthened the community of trans and non-binary people in Hastings and St Leonards.
Of the 40 attendees, 36 said that they would attend again if the opportunity arose.
